The STV brand represents the amalgamated experience of several screen-makers, with the common goal of occupying a leading international position. Three companies currently manufacture and distribute STV products. Of these, a key role is played by STV Italia s.r.l. (Venaria Reale – Torino), which has manufactured screens since 1967 for industrial applications in the automotive sector.
In the late 1990s Vaiarelli embarked on a diversification process which led to the development of electronic applications (SMT) and foil processing activities, with the intention of supplying a variety of industrial sectors. This transformation was completed thanks to the acquisition of photo chemical machining and laser microcutting technologies and, at a later stage, electroforming.

In 2003 the opening of STV France s.a.r.l. (Avelin – Lille) marked the first step towards the incorporation and internationalisation of the Group. In 2006 two new bases were opened in Hungary and Denmark, STV Hungary K.f.t. and STV Denmark A.p.S. which strength the position of STV brand in Europe.
